Things are coming together this week. We have more hands on deck, after one of our fitters has been away on holiday, His return has seen a remarkable change in pace. Unfortunately every time i think to taking some pictures to show off the progress, I remember that I don't know where my camera is. I haven't seen it since last week, so once I find It I will show you the true, up to date progress. But in the meantime some lesser quality pictures taken on my phone from earlier in the week with have to do.
There's a lot of activity down at the boat yard, hence why I haven't posted any news recently. Here are some pictures of the interior progress. From delivery to the battening and spray foaming.
No matter how prepared you are, you can never plan on the weather. I had been checking the forecasts all week and it wasn't looking good. My only hope was that they were wrong, as they so ofter are. I woke up on Monday morning to the sound of pitter patter on the window and it wasn't the birds tap dancing.
It's been a week since the hull was delivered, and what a busy week it's been. I have had lists coming out of my ears. Everything is now in hand and there are some key deliveries due for today, including the windows and first fix electrics. Activity on the hull has been solely on battening the interior ready for the spray foaming, scheduled for Wednesday. So the guys are working hard to meet the deadline.
In other news, we had a great week of weather for our hirer's last week and we keep our fingers crossed it will be the same for the Easter Weekend and our little event.
