The painting of the boat is now complete and it's looking great. We came up with an initial design and although it was a little bit different, it looks fantastic.
I want to firstly apologies for my lack of posts recently. Especially to the people that have booked a holiday on our new boat and are keen to see her progress. We have been constantly busy since the last post and every time I have sat down to write something I've been interrupted by a phone call or an email. Sorry.
However, I have still made time to take pictures, so I can fill you in on everything now. Although I think I will probably have to break it up over a few posts, so as not to bombard you.
Things are coming together this week. We have more hands on deck, after one of our fitters has been away on holiday, His return has seen a remarkable change in pace. Unfortunately every time i think to taking some pictures to show off the progress, I remember that I don't know where my camera is. I haven't seen it since last week, so once I find It I will show you the true, up to date progress. But in the meantime some lesser quality pictures taken on my phone from earlier in the week with have to do.
There's a lot of activity down at the boat yard, hence why I haven't posted any news recently. Here are some pictures of the interior progress. From delivery to the battening and spray foaming.
No matter how prepared you are, you can never plan on the weather. I had been checking the forecasts all week and it wasn't looking good. My only hope was that they were wrong, as they so ofter are. I woke up on Monday morning to the sound of pitter patter on the window and it wasn't the birds tap dancing.
